When I Have Extra Clothes
What To Do?
S.P.Y. IS THE ANSWER
Why is S.P.Y. (Safe Place for Youth) the answer, you may ask? With 50,000 homeless people populating Los Angeles, they don't always have the help or resources that they need. When you donate to S.P.Y. you are helping many people get back on their feet to become better, happier citizens, one shirt, sock, or pair of pants at a time. Want to learn more? Click Here!

Want to donate? Here's their location
We are four Girl Scouts part of GSGLA who are working to earn our Silver Award, a community service project including 50+ hours of planning, creating, gathering, and giving. Our project is aiming to aid the homeless community by holding a clothes drive to donate clothes to S.P.Y. as well as promoting future donations from other people, just like you. We did this by putting out fliers throughout our neighborhood, asking for clothing donations, and by the time we were ready to donate we had many boxes filled to the brim. Although our project is nearly done, we made this website for you to see and hopefully convince you to donate to this wonderful organization!
